From Marion Lauder House we provide care and support to up to 79 people with dementia and nursing needs in 3 different units within the home:

• respite and assessment care,

• EMI residential care, and

• dementia nursing care.

Although the majority of people are over 65, we are able provide care to younger people as well.

Friday the 13th was lucky for Martin when he was awarded the 2012 Business Person of the Year in Warrington. The awards are arranged by the Warrington Guardian and this particular category is sponsored by RBS. The award recognises the development of Brampton Lodge, the day centre in Appleton and the new home care service and Learning-Box training Company which both were developed in 2012.

Martin said he was delighted that a Care Business had been recognised in these difficult times as care services were often overlooked. He went on to say that this award recognises not only his achievements, but that of the whole CareConcepts team.

This award complements the 2012 UK Care Innovator of the Year Martin was awarded in the Great British Care awards.
